MAXC RULES
2012

• You must become a member of AMA.
   
• Pitting is permitted on trail when applicable.  No pitting in scoring vicinity.
   
• Course Cutting:  There will be a zero tolerance for cutting a course!!   You will be penalized one lap for any one rider found cutting course to gain advantage on other competitors.
   
• Rider’s are allowed 25 feet from course arrow’s, any more than 25 feet is considered cutting … You will be penalized one lap...  If course is marked with double arrows   >stay between arrows<   If you ride on the outside or wrong side of these arrows, this will be considered cutting of course and will result in one lap penalty.
   
• Professional Conduct is expected of all racers, spectators and of the MAXC staff members.  Any disorderly or offensive conduct will result in a penalty of one race suspension… Second offense results in series suspension… Remember that racer’s are responsible for their team members conduct!!!!
   
• Bottleneck Rule:  When racers encounter this situation….Racers may use the 25 feet rule, unless this is a double arrowed area.  (If you do not follow this rule you will be penalized)  MAXC staff will reroute this area if necessary.  Remember that we are not trying to destroy a private land owner's property.
   
• All riders must take their machine and riding equipment to the tech inspection area before the start of their race.
   
• Bikes must have working kill switch...
   
• Quads must have operating tethered kill switch...
   
• All competitors must run MAXC decal on machine visible for picture’s to be considered for cash and all other pay outs.
   
• Classes:  It is your responsibility to sign up for the correct class…  Zero tolerance for riders who sign up and ride in wrong classes…  All awards and points will be forfeited.
   
• A rider must be present on the starting line to receive points for that race.
   
• Protesting:  All protests must take place within 30 minutes after the results are posted.
   
• Be appreciative of the land you are riding on, it’s a privilege to have private land owners  who allow this...  Help keep it clean and respect it!!!
• 450 AA (pro) quads engine rule: As stated in AMA/GNCC rules. -stock bore-stock stroke-stock valve angle, etc.
